Google is reportedly experimenting with a new fading homepage design in an effort to create a cleaner, simpler interface.
The experimental design does away with every detail except for the Google logo and the search box, revealing the other navigation links only when a user mouse over the screen.
(One version of the page removes the "Google Search" and "I'm Feeling Lucky" buttons entirely).
